Dragonheart

For a live action movie, this is actually pretty good.  Most live action movies have really bad animation for the dragons, but this one is excellent.

This movie follows the story of a knight who trained the prince during a violent time in England, I think?  Anyway, the prince gets mortally wounded and is taken to a dragon.  The big thing in this movie is that a dragon can share his heart with a human, linking them together.  The dragon shares his heart with the prince and saves his life.

The king, who is dead by this time, has handed over control to the prince, who is ruthless.  The knight, ashamed that he couldn’t do more to stop him, decides to become a dragon hunter.  That’s when he meets Draco.

The characters in this are quite serious, excepting Draco.  He has such dry humour.  It’s a rather dark movie, and I don’t recommend this to those with a squeamish stomach, since there’s blood and guts galore.  But all in all, the story’s good and the monk is hilarious.
